My name is Amanda and I am a Clinical Psychologist practicing in Rivonia. I completed all of my Psychology training at the University of Pretoria. My training has exposed me to a variety of different people with a variety of difficulties. My experience includes working at a Community Clinic in Mamelodi, Weskoppies Psychiactric Hospital, Tara Moross Psychiatric Hospital (Adolescent and Eating Disorder ward), Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital (Psychiatric ward), and Leeuwkop Correctional Centre. When working with clients I prefer a dynamic approach. In this way I try and assist you with thinking about your past, relationships and experiences and integrating them to make sense of current difficulties. I am able to assist those who are interested in learning more about themselves, those who are experiencing specific life or relationship struggles, and those who are living with mental health difficulties. I have a special interest in work with adolescents and individuals with eating disorders, personality disorders and depression.
