I am a clinical psychologist who is passionate about developing and maintaining a working relationship with a client. I believe that individual fit with a therapist is of paramount importance to achieving therapeutic effectiveness and personal growth. Consequently, I place great emphasis on developing a warm, trusting, and empathic relationship with my client, which fosters personal growth within therapy.
My experience as a therapist has led to a passion to working within a psychodynamic paradigm, which means that therapy not only aims to address current stressors, worries and coping strategies thereof, but also looks into how these concerns may have arisen, based on your past life experiences.
I specialise in assisting people (children, adolescents and adults) who have experienced, or are experiencing a psychological and/or interpersonal trauma, depression, interpersonal and relational difficulties (with family, friends, romantic relationships, work relationships etc). I also offer the service of psycho-legal assessment.
