Approach to Therapy

I have trained in various types of therapy and use an integrative approach. An integrative psychologist uses elements from different therapeutic models to suit the needs of their clients. I believe strongly in developing a good therapeutic relationship by using a non-judgemental, empathetic stance and a focus on the specific situation and requirements of the individual. My training includes but is not limited to, BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapies.

My main goal of therapy is for clients to achieve a sense of peace by overcoming challenges and finding a path to becoming the person they would like to be.

My compassionate and empathetic nature delivered from an ethical and professional stance makes treatment less intimidating and more helpful.
