People come to therapy for different reasons. Many come due to difficulties they are currently experiencing, which include long periods of distressing feelings or thoughts, struggling to cope, relationship problems, and or difficulty dealing with a particularly distressing situation. Other people come to therapy simply to gain a better understanding of themselves and more fulfillment in their lives and relationships. It takes courage to seek help when you need it. My approach to therapy is psychodynamic in nature. The heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship formed with my clients-each a unique experience. Through the relationship that develops we look at patterns that have formed through past experiences as we seek understanding and awareness into your difficulties and present life.
