If you’ve found yourself here, I understand that there’s a struggle in your life that’s worrying you. Perhaps it's something you've been struggling with for a long-time such as a childhood trauma, long-standing symptoms of anxiety or depression, or issues in your relationships. Or, maybe it's something new and challenging, such as the loss of a loved one, a diagnosis of an illness, school/work stress, or, in this time of lockdown, any overwhelming feelings such as anxiety, guilt, anger, depression, or exhaustion.
I offer a safe space to work through whatever brings you to therapy, which can ultimately lead to improved relationships, renewed coping resources, increased self awareness, and personal growth. While I work within a person-centered and psychodynamic framework, I also use aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness where they may best suit your needs and personal therapeutic goals.
Whether you’ve seen a psychologist before or this is the first time you’re considering talking to someone, or if you just have a question, please get in touch. www.talilanesman.co.za
