I am a Clinical Psychologist working in private practice in Bergvliet as well as form part of an associate practice in Claremont.
In my private practice, I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families providing both short and long term therapy, dependent on need. I mostly tend to follow an integrative psychodynamic approach, however, also draw on the techniques and principals of other approaches, such as CBT and DBT, so as to best meet the unique needs and preferences of my individual client.
I work with all forms psychological distress and clinical disorders , however, hold a special interest in substance abuse, addiction treatment, eating disorders and duel diagnosis. I also see clients who wish to gain increased self knowledge and growth through the psychotherapeutic relationship.
In addition to the above, I work at an associate practice in Claremont where I provide all forms psychometric and neuropsychological assessment for educational, diagnostic or treatment purposes as well as medico- legal reports. I am also available for additional adolescent and adult therapeutic work as well as offer play therapy for children.
I am currently registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa and a member of the Psychological Society of South Africa.
