I am a registered counselling psychologist with a Masters in the Social Sciences from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (Cum Laude). In 2006 I completed an internship at the Child and Family Center in Pietermaritzburg. This year-long practical placement is a core component of psychologist training and afforded me the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of problems affecting individuals to problems in relationships, marriages and families. I also worked with children regarding learning problems and career choices.
I was the Head Psychologist at a remedial school for 8 years before entering private practice. During this time I have gain valuable experience in working with children with learning disabilities. During the last 8 years, I saw the value of working with the whole family in helping children develop and cope.
