Counselling psychologists treat people dealing with normal life challenges, such as the loss of a job or divorce. They hold Master’s Degrees in Counselling Psychology and are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
I am a registered counselling psychologist practicing in the Northcliff area.
My practical training at PsyCaD at the University of Johannesburg has prepared me well to assist individuals with a variety of personal problems. In this setting I also gained experience in a number of psychological assessments, including but not limited to career and subject choice assessments.
Volunteering at Headway Brain Injury Association and camps for children with conduct and emotional problems also expanded my skills for working with individuals to promote personal growth.
I also developed a lot of patience and competence in training and empowering others through a background in teaching and tutoring.
I have a passion for helping others to reach their potential and I believe that the renewing of one's mind is the first step towards positive change and growth.
