Counselling psychologists treat people dealing with normal life challenges, such as the loss of a job or divorce. They hold Master’s Degrees in Counselling Psychology and are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
It’s a fact that life throws us curved balls. Whether one is going through grief associated with bereavement, experiencing work-related problems or conflict in one’s personal life, these lead to feelings of anxiety, loss of control, helplessness and depression. Just as you wouldn’t expect a Band-aid to heal a broken leg, one sometimes needs professional help to overcome those feelings that negatively impact on your life. This is where therapy comes in. I offer individual therapy, couple's therapy and family therapy following an Integrative Approach, tailoring treatment to the individual person/couple and their presenting problem.
