Counselling psychologists treat people dealing with normal life challenges, such as the loss of a job or divorce. They hold Master’s Degrees in Counselling Psychology and are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
I am a Counselling Psychologist who has a passion in working with adolescents and adults regarding problems in acquirement of developmental tasks, adjustment difficulties and life challenges. An integrative psychotherapy approach is used to optimise the psychological well-being of my clients.
I also assess cognitive, personality and emotional functioning in relation to life challenges and developmental problems as well as assessing specific developmental processes, more specifically subject choice and career choice using psychometric assessment measures.
