Educational psychologists work with children and adolescents, assisting in their psychological adjustment and development. They operate within the contexts of family, school, peer groups and communities, and are able to conduct and interpret scholastic and psychometric tests. They hold Master’s Degrees in Educational Psychology and are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
Anke Lampen is an Educational Psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Anke obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of the Witwatersrand and went on to complete her honours in Psychology and then her Masters in Educational Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Anke completed her internship at The Family Life Centre in Parkwood Johannesburg, where she had the privilege of working with children, adolescents and families from a variety of different backgrounds.
Anke has a special interest in working with children and adolescents and believes in the innate abilities and strengths of all children. Anke aims to create an emotionally safe and containing environment for her clients and strives to assist individuals in reaching optimal emotional health in order to live balanced and healthy lives.
