Social workers work with individuals, as well as families and communities, to develop treatment plans for people with mental health problems. They may work either in private practice or in collaboration with other healthcare professions. They hold Bachelor’s of Arts Degrees and are registered with the South African Council for Service Professions.

I am a social worker who has been practicing for 20 years in a wide variety of fields. Special interests lie in the fields of Chemical Dependency with youth and adults, Relationships and Marriage. Life changes such as divorce, trauma, stress and financial difficulties as well as personal growth and development are also close to my heart in working with people.
My goal is to empower and to impart skills and coping techniques to individuals. Developing self awareness and personal insight is a key to resolving and managing the difficulties one faces in life.
I count it a privilege to be a tool in someones life helping them along their journey.
