Social workers work with individuals, as well as families and communities, to develop treatment plans for people with mental health problems. They may work either in private practice or in collaboration with other healthcare professions. They hold Bachelor’s of Arts Degrees and are registered with the South African Council for Service Professions.
I am a qualified, registered social worker in private practice, registered with South African Council for Social services professions, SAASWIPP (South African Association for Social workers in Private Practice) and the Board of Health Funders South African. Sarie started her private practice in 2009 and specialises in therapeutic, supportive and evaluation services to the legal system, parents and children. Sarie completed post-graduate training in the following areas: - Divorce counselling to parents and children. Family mediation services. - Coaching and assisting parents in drafting of Parental Plans. - Social emotional evaluation of children between 3 -18 years. - Parental Capacity Report of parents.
Sarie works from the understanding that both parents will be involved when rendering services. It will be in the best interest of children when both parents are involved.

Rates: Cash Practice. Clients are responsible for claiming from their medical aid.
