I provide a non-judgmental, empathic and confidential space in which clients can safely explore the challenges that are impacting on their daily lives. I offer clients evidence-based psychological strategies which have been demonstrated to help reduce fears, anxieties and depressed mood as well as help people adjust to life changes and improve relationships. I work collaboratively with clients, supporting them to achieve their goals which address their needs for well-being and psychosocial health, and which are in line with their values and thus meaningful to them. Through the therapeutic process, clients are empowered with skills which they can then independently apply in the future, when needed.

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers. What this means for the South African context, is that I have been accredited to provide evidence-based psychological strategies, which have been approved by Medicare Australia to be the most reliable in terms of effectiveness and time/cost-efficiency. I have a strong commitment to my continuing professional development. As such, I have extensive international training in evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy trainings through the Beck Institute and the Australian Psychological Society, among others.

I offer a free 15-minute (Whatsapp/ Skype) consultation so that we can complete a preliminary assessment to determine whether my service might be a good fit for your needs.
